Time to Stop

There are a number of ways to decide when its time to stop work for the day, mine came around 6 pm, as I was attaching the hockey puck under lighting to a shelf that will go over my stove.  I put all of them on upside down, and didn’t realize it until I went to put the lens caps on and they didn’t fit correctly.

I looked at the cap, looked at the puck fixture, hmm – did I screw it down too tight (see, I’m still not realizing that the bulb is facing THE SHELF!!).  I went to loosen the screws on one of the fixtures to see if then the cap would fit – at this point the proverbial light bulb went off and I told the cat I was an idiot…she already knows this, but I’m an idiot with food, catnip, and a big lap, so she puts up with me.

Cats can be very forgiving, when they want to be. Under cabinet lighting is not. Since you have to stand on your head in the first place to see what you are doing, they always seem to take two tries to get them up.

I hate it when I do shit like that. And we aren't even blonde Ms Hill! Of course I'm sure the cat was rolling his/her eyes at you saying "I was tryin' to tell you you were doin' it wrong, but you never listen to ME"
